With over 20 years' of experience as an advisor, consultant and director, Migiel is responsible for the cyber risk team. Before joining Grant Thornton in 2019, Migiel was founder and owner of a niche consulting firm in the field of information security and cyber resilience.

Migiel and his team of professional hackers, cyber experts and consultants consider it their mission to help companies become and remain more cyber resilient. Together, they help companies, large and small, with all the challenges of cybersecurity and resilience.

As of 2020, Migiel is part of Grant Thornton International's Global Steering Committee and part of the core team for Transport and Logistics. In 2021, he joined the board of the Platform for Information Security.

Migiel has experience in various sectors, including transport & logistics, water & energy, IT, manufacturing, financial services, (local) governments, automotive and construction. Besides information security and cyber resilience, he also has experience in IT carve-outs and integration and optimisation services.
