What does the UBO registration entail exactly?

The registration of UBO’s must make it more transparent who is ultimately in charge within a company. In this way, the European Union wants to promote better insight into the actual business relations of business parties. You may register your UBO at the UBO-portal of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

Register on time and avoid fines

Fortunately, you still have enough time to register. But don't forget, because you may risk a fine. In other countries, enforcement takes place and fines have already been issued to directors of companies who did not register their UBO on time. Chances are likely that, as of April 2022, our government will also commence enforcement in the Netherlands.
