After a Master's degree in Civil Law from Leiden University (2000) and after a year of studying Anglo-American Contract Law and Irish Language and Literature at Trinity College Dublin, Géraldine gained extensive experience as General Counsel and Company Lawyer at various (internationally operating) family companies in the Maritime, Life Science and Private Equity sectors. In this capacity, besides providing strategic legal advice, she also managed several large legal projects, including an IPO, various financing processes (both corporate and project-based financing) and the purchase and sale of ships and companies.

As Partner Legal Services, Géraldine will focus on the expansion of Grant Thornton's Legal services practice, among other things.
