Dooitze Dijkstra studied tax law at the University of Groningen and has been working as a tax consultant in the Amsterdam region since 2006. He gained experience at Mazars and Baker Tilly in both the national and international tax consultancy practice.

As of February 1^st, 2019, he has joined Grant Thornton where he leads the national tax advisory team (General Practice). His practice focuses primarily on DGA's (business owner / shareholder substanstial interest), family businesses, high net worth individuals, athletes and artists. His tax focus is on corporate income tax and personal income tax.

As a tax expert, Dooitze is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB).
