Werner, is a senior manager on Grant Thornton Netherlands' Cyber Security team. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT, including more than 12 years in Cybsersecurity. He has advanced knowledge in security testing, incident response, security monitoring and Cyber Threat Hunting, for medium and enterprise organizations.
In 2019, Werner conceived and developed a new Cyber security service in partnership with Grant Thornton called CyberHunter. CyberHunter helps SMB organizations understand cyber security risks through Cyber Security monitoring, Endpoint protection and Vulnerability management. The goal of CyberHunter is to get basic information security in order within organizations and to prevent cyber attacks.
In addition, Werner was part of the Deloitte Cyberlympics team, which has become world champion several times. The Global Cyberlympics is a competition organized by the EC-Council, in which teams from all over the world compete against each other. The challenges in the competition are in the areas of digital forensics, exploitation of web applications, exploitation of networks and systems, malware analysis, reverse engineering, cryptography and physical security.
