Prepare your organisation for the new EBA expectations on ESG risk management.
The European Banking Authority proposes new and much stricter guidelines for ESG risk management. Since 11 January 2026, EBA Guidelines apply in full to Significant Institutions, with other banks soon to follow. This raises the bar: Environmental, Social and Governance risks must be embedded in strategy, governance, and existing risk management processes.
For many organisations, this means substantial adjustments. Supervisors expect robust data, clear ownership, consistent processes and demonstrable control. Delaying action increases supervisory, strategic and financial risks.
What to expect in this webinar
During this online session, our specialists will walk you through the latest EBA expectations and share practical guidance on how to meet them. We will cover:
- What the EBA and national supervisors will require from 2026 onwards
- What steps you can take to ensure your organisation is ready to integrate ESG risk into its existing governance and risk processes
- Practical examples and common pitfalls we see in the market
After the webinar (in English), you will have a clear view of where your organisation stands, what is needed next, and how to accelerate compliance in a manageable and structured way.
