CHICAGO and ZURICH, November 5, 2025 - Grant Thornton
Switzerland/Liechtenstein has completed a transaction that makes it part of the
Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform, further enhancing the
platform’s position as a leading provider of cross-border services underpinned
by investments in technology, people, and quality.
This follows recently announced transactions with other European Grant
Thornton member firms, including those in Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, the Channel Islands and Poland— along with Grant
Thornton firms in the United Arab Emirates, the Cayman Islands and New
Zealand.
The platform also includes Auxis, a pioneer in outsourcing and business
modernization services, and Stax, which specializes in commercial due
diligence and value creation.
The addition of Switzerland/Liechtenstein strengthens the platform’s unified
advisory and tax solutions, as well as its independent audit and assurance
practices. The expansion also enhances Grant Thornton’s network of
professionals in key European financial hubs, including Zurich and Geneva,
alongside existing presences in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, and UAE.
The Grant Thornton multinational platform, first established in January 2025,
now extends from the Americas across Europe and the Middle East to the Asia
Pacific region. It is supported by an investor group led by New Mountain
Capital, a growth-oriented investment firm with approximately $55 billion in
assets under management.
The expanded platform remains part of the Grant Thornton International
Limited network, which includes member firms in more than 150 markets
worldwide.
The transaction was originally announced in June 2025.
