Grant Thornton Netherlands will be joining the multinational platform established earlier this year by Grant Thornton Advisors LLC (“Grant Thornton Advisors”). As part of this transaction, Grant Thornton Accountants en Adviseurs B.V. will undergo a legal demerger, whereby the non-audit and advisory services will be transferred to a newly incorporated company (the “Demerger”). The demerger proposal was published on 21 June 2025 and has been filed with the Dutch Trade Register. Following the Demerger, the current entity will change its statutory name to Grant Thornton Audit en Assurance B.V., while the newly incorporated entity will adopt the name Grant Thornton Accountants en Adviseurs B.V.
Clients and relations with an engagement letter with Grant Thornton Accountants en Adviseurs B.V. will receive an e-mail with information regarding the Demerger.
