Wouter Kreukniet is a tax advisor at Grant Thornton and is specialized in (international) tax advisory with a special focus on European tax legislation, withholding taxes and permanent establishment questions.

Wouter studied tax law and International and European law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and graduated in 2017. After a short break working in a different sector, Wouter joined Grant Thornton as tax advisor in 2018.

As part of the International Tax Services team in the Rotterdam office, Wouter is involved in a variety of Wouter is involved in a variety of international tax and compliance projects. Due to his background in European tax law, Wouter’s focus is on European tax legislation such as the parent-subsidiary directive, the interest and royalty directive, Pillar 2 and BEFIT. In addition, Wouter is specialized in withholding tax issues and permanent establishment questions.

Wouter has been involved in a large number of international advisory and compliance assignments since he started working at Grant Thornton. In addition, Wouter is involved in a number of cross border assignments for clients operating in Germany due to his secondment at Grant Thornton Germany.
