Edwin Du is an experienced advisor in the field of IT auditing and IT risk management. He started his career at EY and has conducted audits and assessments at various (inter)national financial institutions for the purpose of annual audit, SOx, and third party assurance reports (ISAE3000 & ISAE3402).

In addition, Edwin has experience in risk management transformation projects to improve the internal control of organizations. His work includes conducting risk assessments, developing, modifying, or rationalising internal control frameworks, and implementing control measures. His approach is to achieve the desired level of risk maturity through pragmatic solutions.

Currently Edwin supports various financial institutions in enhancing their maturity level using the DNB Good Practice for Information Security. In doing so, he takes a pragmatic approach to the requirements and considers relevant trends, developments, and future laws and regulations.
