Voorgaand evenement woensdag 7 september 2022

You are cordially invited to the First Grant Thornton Retail Business Event in Düsseldorf on 7 September 2022 from 9:00 to 17:00 at the location of our German Grant Thornton Member Firm in Düsseldorf (Johannstraße 39, 40476 Düsseldorf) and a joint dinner on 6 September 2022.

Whether digitalisation, invoice requirements, OSS procedures, new indirect “green” taxes, or amendments on EU level: national and international enterprises are facing a multitude of complex VAT matters, leading to a potential VAT burden and, in particular, conflicts with fiscal authorities.

In the course of the summit, VAT experts of GT Germany and Grant Thornton International (including Grant Thornton NL) will provide you with an overview of current international VAT trends. Afterwards, you will be able to discuss specific local matters concerning your company in one-on-one meetings with the representatives of the Grant Thornton member firms. This is a great opportunity to obtain valuable information on the practical legal application first-hand.

Please note: The event will take place in English and in compliance with the COVID-19 regulations in place at the time of the event.

Furthermore, you are cordially invited to join us for a casual dinner the evening before, where you will be able to engage in interesting discussions and networking with the other participants. Further details will be provided soon.

Are you interested in learning more?
Then sign up for our event until 17 August 2022. The signup is binding. We kindly ask you to include in your application the representatives of the countries (EU, Switzerland, and UK) with whom you would like to engage in a personal discussion and whether you will join us for dinner.
